On Thursday, September 4, we took part in an event dedicated to the ethical use of artificial intelligence and its importance for sustainable business, jointly organized by UN Global Compact Serbia and Hemofarm A.D.
At the event, our colleagues Milica Pesterić, partner, and Simona Vračar, senior associate, delivered the opening presentation on the legal framework and ethical guidelines shaping the way companies in Serbia use AI technologies. Particular emphasis was placed on data protection, non-discrimination, and alignment with European regulations such as the AI Act.
The discussion continued with a panel featuring representatives from Mars, Hemofarm A.D., and Beyond42, focusing on the opportunities and risks that AI brings, the open issues in practice, and the importance of responsible implementation of AI in line with ESG principles.
🌍 Artificial intelligence brings new opportunities but also challenges. Responsible implementation, in accordance with legal and ethical standards, is key to the sustainable development of the business sector.
